Anxiety On A Friday

Fri Dec 11, 2009, 12:12 PM
Life has been going well. Haven't taken any decent pictures lately, only webcams’. I've attended several parties and will attend another one tomorrow. I had 3 movies due Monday and a presentation that was supposed to be done Wednesday but because I suddenly became sick on Thursday I haven't done it yet. Rogers is over, sort of, until January. 2009 is almost over. I got a new hat, and I've been sort of downloading music all day.

Now for my story of the day: Anxiety on a Friday.
Lets go back to last night *time skip woosh* I was talking to Sam and I promised her I'd drive her home on Friday (today) after juggling club so we could stay late and stuff. Michael and I also made a deal that we'd call each other in the morning to say whether or not we were going to go to school. I had my plans sorted out and could finally get some sleep.

Now it's this morning and I wake up, have a shower, get dressed and go to sleep on my floor by the phone, waiting for Michael to call and tell me if he was staying home or not. He calls, sort of wakes me up, and says, "I'm going to school today." I respond, "Me too, see you there." We hang up 2 minutes later I feel like I just got punched in the stomach 40 times then ask my parents to stay home, they say sure, I go back up to bed. Later (7:15am) I go to sleep and wake up at 12:30 ish. I send a few text messages to Sam and Michael saying, "I stayed home, oops." and, "I stayed home so I can't drive you home after juggling, sorry." So my day became super boring. I figured the only way to save a day like this would be to download music!

So I did and on the second download I heard a loud bang downstairs. Because I’m paranoid, I called my parents and asked if my dad was coming home early today, my mom responded with, “… no?” That is when I thought about every house brake in story I’ve ever heard. I then run down the stairs look to see if every door is locked and then run back up to my parents’ room. I lock myself in there and wait. I then hear the bang again and foot steps. This is when I freak. I hear knocking at the door, so being stupid I go down and look and what do I see? Luke, my neighbour, the cop, at the door. (Quick story interruption to describe Luke. 2 words: oh ya.) Well what kind of person would I be if I didn’t let him in? I let Luke in and he immediately takes off his shoes and says, “Hey, your mom called and told me to check out the house.” I try not to be too much of a fangirl and just say, “Okay.” So he walks over to my garage door unlocks it, opens it and says, “ POLICE!” I tried so hard not to lol, srsly. It was so funny. He continues around my house opening doors and saying, “ POLICE!”. After opening every door in my house, he puts his boots back on and says, “You’re good! Nothing here.” I say sorry a couple hundred times for making him go out of his way then say thank you once for his kindness. Before leaving he says to me, “You know, you were probably hearing a combination of me working in my garage and all the wind.” I lock the door, go upstairs and laugh a few times. Look what the cold can do to you. I think I’m really sick.

When The Volcano Erupted I Became Concerned

Sun Nov 15, 2009, 6:16 PM
I want me a snow day!! I guess we need snow for there to be a snow day. Or like ice or something.

I totally thought this semester would continue to be easy right up until exams in January or February (or whenever), but obviously in thinking that I was wrong. Just the other week I was given 3 projects that were (/are now due) on Tuesday November 17th (in 2 days), Friday November 20th (in a few days) and Sunday November 8th (last Sunday). The one that was due last Sunday was for Media Arts, I worked my butt off on it, handed it in (the day after it was due), was told by my teacher I got "100%!" but then lost 15% because it wasn't handed in on the Sunday. "... ... ..." Ya I know, ARGH! But I had to stay calm and deal (that is what I get when I leave things until the last minute, cough, doing that atm, cough). SO, in 2 days I have an English project due that I have to get done by tonight, which I haven't even started yet, SO, I'm screwed, as usual.

-insert inside joke about angels here-

Man do I want some strawberry pocky right now... mmmm.. so delicious.

On another note, 2012 was so ridiculously bad it was funny! When the volcano erupted I became very concerned. *nods head. Also something smelt like stinky feet in line for fries and iced teas.

Memoires on the Rogers floor

Thu Oct 8, 2009, 4:43 PM
No way! Time is lying to us guys! It's totally not October 8th 2009! There's no way time went by that fast! No way...

Well, unfortunately yes, time did go by that fast. In time snow will start to fall as well. Aren't we all just super ecstatic for that!? Oh you know I am! Quite a few things have changed since the last time I wrote a boring journal. I've found myself reuniting with old friends and distancing from close friends. My super inspirational music teacher is also leaving to go do something ridiculously fun somewhere that isn't in Canada. There goes my music mark! I have a few leeches that won't get off me no matter how much salt water I soak them in and a few fish I can't catch but that's no big deal, really.

The one thing I'm happy with at the moment is that I've been practicing my juggling more and have improved! Ahah I will be in that talent show this year! Another plus is that 90% I got on that crap playing test I did in music class. Unfortunately I was told to practice my music tonight and what sucks a lot is that I forgot the pieces at school. Oops?

Life is going by fast. The other day at Rogers while I was sitting on the cold floor I realized you have to tell people things, or you will definitely regret it later.

We Are Definitely Humans

Wed Aug 19, 2009, 3:21 PM
Wowzers! I haven't written a boring journal in quite awhile. I guess that means this journal is going to be fabulous!

Today is (according to my pals and I) the 3rd day of the time loop. If you watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumya (or at least heard about it from a friend) you'd know that from August 17th - 30th we will be stuck in a continuous time loop. That's nuts, I know but so cool all at the same time!

Now back to reality: Now in my last journal I wrote about how "scorching hot" the days had been here and ever since I wrote that I think I jinxed the weather because it's been raining almost every day here! I also introduced Zelda: Twilight Princes AKA my used-to-be-new-obsession to you all and shortly after returning from camp I realized that game was so pointless and hard to beat. Being the failure gamer I am I just ditched it and don't plan to return playing it unless someone offers me imaginary dollars.

I finally managed to finish a few old home videos, 2 down 998 more to go! Hurah! Too bad this summer is almost over or else maybe I would have been able to finish at the very least 5 more movies, that probs won't happen though.

Remember kids, don't start anything you won't finish!

Time Flies

Wed Jul 1, 2009, 2:50 PM
Now I'm 2 weeks into summer vacation and man is it awesome (besides the scorching hot days)! I've been having much fun and soon will have more when I go to camp in 2 days. Unfortunately I still need to pack, but that's no problem, I packed the day of last year.

I just noticed now that I haven't written a journal in quite a while. No big deal though, if I had written one I wouldn't have anything to say. Except maybe that my birthday was a few Thursdays ago, and that I'm officially obsessed with Harry Potter. The newest movie comes out very soon and I can't wait! :]

On another random note, there are some cool games coming out this September (that's exactly what I said last June, but this time it's true)! I've been playing this Zelda Twilight Princess game a lot recently (could it be an addiction? no way!). It's very entertaining, only one problem; at the beginning of the game you get to name your horse and I named it Yanis (lol not after the local fish and chip place that went out of business) thinking it was a guy then a few minutes into the game was told that my horse was actually a girl (damn it, I know).

Well I better be out of here to go do something pointless yet entertaining (Zelda or possibly finish old home videos?)! Have a great summer everyone and just call (friends who live within driving range from me) if you want to do something, I’m always around except from July 3rd – July 17th!

p.s. Happy Canada Day to all Canadians!
